Tucson, Arizona, May 28, 1902. The meeting was called to order by the President, Dr. Fen. ner at 10 a. m., in Carnegie Library Building. Hon. Rochester Ford was introduced and made a most cordial welcoming address, to which Dr. William Duffield of Phoenix responded. A communication from the Secretary of the American Medical Association was read by the secretary. It was moved by Dr. Duffield that the communication be referred to the Judicial Council. The motion being seconded and there being no objection, was so referred to the chair. The first paper was by Dr. Ancil Martin, entitled "Acute Suppurative Inflammation of the Middle Ear,' which was very well received and generally discussed. Dr. Lennox of Tucson, then read a paper entitled "Cerebrospinal Meningitis"-which was freely discussed. The meeting adjourned to meet at 1:30 p. m. Afternoon Session, May 28. 1903. Meeting called to order by the President, Dr. Fenner. Dr. H. E. Stroud of Phoenix, presented a clinical report of "Empyema" with resection, and called for general consultation. and discussion. The association took a recess for the examination. An exhaustive discussion followed. |
