Strana 16 - SECTION 23. Strana 76 - Every motor vehicle, other than a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle, when operated upon a highway shall be equipped with brakes adequate to control the movement of and to stop and hold such vehicle, including two separate means of applying the brakes, each of which means shall be effective to apply the brakes to at least two wheels.
Strana 49 - Uniformity of Interpretation. This Act shall be so interpreted and construed as to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law of those states which enact it.
Strana 61 - The speed limitations set forth in this act shall not apply to vehicles when operated with due regard for safety under the direction of the police in the chase or apprehension of violators of the law or of persons charged with or suspected of any such violation, nor to fire department or fire patrol vehicles when traveling in response to a fire alarm, nor to public or private ambulances when traveling in emergencies.
