A message from the House of Representatives, by Mr. Halstead: Mr. Speaker: I am directed to inform the Senate that the House of Representatives has adopted the following resolution, to wit:

WHEREAS, The printing and binding of the eight volumes of the AdjutantGeneral's Report were done in the years of 1867 and 1868, by the contractors for public printing and binding, under their existing contracts with the State, and said accounts now remain unsettled in the office of the Auditor of Public Accounts; therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring herein, That the Auditor of Public Accounts be and he is hereby directed and required to audit and allow said accounts according to the terms of the contracts severally existing for the public printing with Baker, Bailhache & Company, and for the binding with Johnson & Bradford.

In the adoption of which I am instructed to ask the concurrence of the Senate.
