LAWS OF WISCONSIN. SPECIAL SESSION OF 1892. No. 1, A.] [Published July 2, 1892. CHAPTER I. AN ACT to apportion the state of Wisconsin into senate and assembly districts. The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows: districts. SECTION 1. Until there shall be a new appor- Senate tionment, the senators shall be apportioned among the several districts of this state as hereinafter mentioned, and each district shall be entitled to elect one senator. The counties of Door, Kewaunee and Marinette First. shall constitute the First senate district. The counties of Brown and Oconto shall consti- Second. tute the Second senate district. The counties of Racine and Kenosha shall con- Third. stitute the Third senate district. The First, Third, Seventh and Eighteenth wards Fourth. of the city of Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee shall constitute the Fourth senate district. The Fourth, Fifth, Eighth, Fifteenth and Six- Fifth. teenth wards of the city of Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee, shall constitute the Fifth senate district. The Second, Sixth and Ninth wards of the city Sixth. of Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee, shaÏl constitute the Sixth senate district. The Tenth and Thirteenth wards of the city of Seventh. Milwaukee, and the towns of Milwaukee, Granville and Wauwatosa, in the county of Milwaukee, shall constitute the Seventh senate district. The Eleventh, Twelfth, Fourteenth and Seven- Eighth. teenth wards of the city of Milwaukee, and the towns of Lake, Oak Creek, Franklin and Green Ninth. Tenth. Eleventh. Twelfth. Thirteenth. Fourteenth. Fifteenth. Sixteenth. Seventeenth. Eighteenth. Nineteenth. Twentieth. Twenty-first. Twenty-second. field, in the county of Milwaukee, shall constitute the Eighth senate district. The counties of Adams, Green Lake, Juneau, Marquette and Waushara shall constitute the Ninth senate district. The counties of Pierce, Burnett, Polk and Saint Croix shall constitute the Tenth senate district. The counties of Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, Sawyer and Washburn shall constitute the Eleventh senate district. The counties of Lincoln and Marathon shall constitute the Twelfth senate district. The county of Dodge and the towns of Scott, Randolph, Courtland, Springvale, Wyocena, West Point, Lodi, Arlington, Leeds, Otsego, Hampden, Fountain Prairie, Columbus, and village of Rio and West ward of the village of Randolph, and, city of Columbus, in the county of Columbia, shall constitute the Thirteenth senate district. The counties of Florence, Forest, Langlade, Oneida and Shawano, shall constitute the Fourteenth senate district. The counties of Calumet and Manitowoc shall constitue the Fifteenth senate district. The counties of Crawford, Richland, and the towns of Beetown, Bloomington, Boscobel. Castle Rock, Ellenborough, Fennimore, Glen Haven, Hickory Grove, Lancaster, Little Grant, Marion, Muscoda, Mount Hope, Mount Ida, Millville, Patch Grove, Watterstown, Woodman, Wyalusing and Wingville, in the county of Grant, shall constitute the Sixteenth senate district. The counties of Green and Rock shall constitute the Seventeenth senate district. The county of Fond du Lac shall constitute the Eighteenth senate district. The county of Winnebago shall constitute the Nineteenth senate district. The county of Sheboygan shall constitute the Twentieth senate district. The counties of Portage, Wood, and the towns of Matteson, Larabee, Dupont, Helvetia, Saint Lawrence, Waupaca, Lind, Dayton, Farmington, Scandinavia, lola, Harrison, Wyoming, and the cities of Clintonville and Waupaca, in the county of Waupaca, shall constitute the Twenty-first senate district. The county of Outagamie and the towns. of Union, Bear Creek, Lebanon, Little Wolf, Royalton, Mukwa, Caledonia. Fremont, Weyauwega, and the villages of Fremont and Wey auwega, and the First, Second, Fourth and Fifth wards of the city of New London, in the county of Waupaca, shall constitute the Twentysecond senate district. The county of Jefferson and the towns of Al- Twenty-third. bion, Bristol, Christiana, Cottage Grove, Deerfield, Medina, Sun Prairie, York and the village of Sun Prairie, in the county of Dane, shall constitute the Twenty-third senate district. The county of Walworth and the towns of Twenty-fourth. Delafield, Eagle, Genesee, Summit, Muskego, Vernon, Ottawa, Mukwanago and Waukesha, in the county of Waukesha, shall constitute the Twentyfourth senate district. The counties of Clark and Eau Claire shall con- Twenty-fifth. stitute the Twenty-fifth senate district. The county of Dane, excepting the towns of Twenty-sixth. Albion, Bristol, Christiana, Cottage Grove, Deerfield, Medina, Sun Prairie, York and the village of Sun Praire, shall constitute the Twenty-sixth senate district. seventh. The county of Sauk and the towns of Newport, TwentyLewiston, Fort Winnebago, Marcellon, Caledonia, Pacific, Dekorra, Lowville and the city of Portage, in the county of Columbia, shall constitute the Twenty-seventh senate district. The counties of Iowa, La Fayette, and the Twenty-eighth. towns of Cassville, Clifton, Harrison, Hazel Green, Jamestown, Liberty, Lima, Paris, Platteville, Potosi, Smelser and Waterloo, in the county of Grant, shall constitute the Twenty-eighth senate district. The counties of Buffalo, Dunn, Barron and Twenty-ninth. Pepin, shall constitute the Twenty-ninth senate district. The counties of Chippewa, Price and Taylor Thirtieth. shall constitute the Thirtieth senate district. The counties of Jackson, Monroe and Vernon Thirty-first. shall constitute the Thirty-first senate district. The counties of La Crosse and Trempealeau Thirty-second. shall constitute the Thirty-second senate district. The counties of Ozaukee, Washington and the Thirty third. towns of Brookfield, Menomonee, New Berlin, Pewaukee, Lisbon, Merton, Oconomowoc and the city of Oconomowoc, in the county of Waukesha, shall constitute the Thirty-third senate district. tricts.
