An Act to authorise the construction of a dam across the Manitowoc River

The People of the State of Wisconsin represented in Senate und Assembly do enact as follows :

SECTION 1. Charles Klingholz, his associates, successors, build, maintain, heirs and assigns are hereby authorised to build and maintain &o. a dam across the Manitowoc river, at any point included within lots numbered one (1), two (2), or three (3) in section twenty-six (26), in township nineteen (19), north of range twentythree (23) east in the county of Manitowoc and State of Wisconsin; also to use the water of said river at or adjoining said Power to use wa point for the purpose of driving or working a flouring mill or ic purposes. mills, and for such other hydraulic purposes as he may deem expedient: Provided, the erection of the dam shall not flow Proviso. the lands of others than the said Charles Klingholz.

An Act to authorise certain State Roads therein named

The People of the State of Wisconsin, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

Chap. 209

SECTION 1. That David Scott, Samuel Jones and C. E. P. Commissioners appointed to lay Hobart are hereby appointed commissioners to lay out a state out a road. road from Berlin in Marquette county, via Waupacca Falls, to Wausau in the county of Marathon, on the most direct and feasible route.

SECTION 2. Said commissioners are also authorised to lay out and establish a state road from Waupacca Falls to the Village of Mukwa, on the Wolf river.

An Act to change the name of the town of Plymouth.

An Act for the relief of the town of Alto.

The People of the State of Wisconsin representea in Senate and Assembly do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. That all roads heretofore laid out and established by the proper officers of the town of Alto, in the county of Fond du Lac, are hereby declared to be a public highway: Provided, That this act shall not affect any road which may have been discontinued by such officers.

SEC. 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

The people of the State of Wisconsin, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows :

Sprague Comid Pardee, be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners to lay out and establish a state road from Beaver Dam in the county of Dodge, to Pardeeville in the county of Columbia, thence by the most practicable route to Fort Winnebago in said county: Provided, that no part of the expense of said Proviso. road shall be paid out of the State Treasury.

The People of the State of Wisconsin represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows :

An Act for the relief of Sheboygan county.

The People of the State of Wisconsin represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. The Secretary of State is hereby authorised rect accounts vs and empowered, on his being furnished with satisfactory proof by the Supervisors of Sheboygan county, to certify the amount now standing against said county, for arrearages of taxes that have resulted from double assessment and taxation of property in said county, and the State Treasurer is hereby required to credit the amount so certified to the county of Sheboygan. SECTION 1. That all the territory west of Fox river falling within the limits of town eighteen, of range fifteen, in the counto of Winnebago be, and the same is attached, for all town purposes, to the town of Bloomingdale.

The People of the State of Wisconsin, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. That Christian Linde, William N. Davis and N. E. Hobart, be, and are appointed Commissioners to lay out

and establish a state road from Oshkosh in the county of Winnebago, on the most practicable route to Little Bull Falls on the Wisconsin river.

SEC. 2.
