"UNA AND HER PAUPERS."

"There is a book recently published bearing so directly upon what we are engaged in, that those of us not already familiar with it cannot do better than to read it. It is the MEMORIALS OF AGNES ELIZABETH JONES, the Lady Superintendent of Trained Nurses in the Liverpool Workhouse Hospital, who died in the year 1868, at the age of thirty-five. It is an inspiration to read the record of so pure and noble a life."-From an Address read at the opening meeting of the Local Visiting Committee for Bellevue Hospital of New York City, January 26, 1872.

"We can sell that Book to almost every Regular Customer. No matter whether he comes to Buy it or not. Let it be talked into him a few minutes, and he takes it. He realizes that his Library needs it.”

So said a leading dealer, speaking of Taine's English Literature. No person having a little library will decline to take it if he knows what it is. Every dealer can place a quantity among his customers, and can make more on each copy than on half a dozen ordinary sales. Send for Circular, and get special terms for placing a quantity among your customers.
