BE IT REMEMBERED, that on the twenty-sixth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty-seven, and of the lodependence, of the United States of America the fifty-first, l'eter Force, of the said District, has deposited in the Office of the Clerk of the District Court for the District of Columbia, the title of a Book, the right whereof he claims as Proprietor, in the words following, 10 wit: “ Memoirs of the War in the Southern Department of the United States. By Henry Lee, lieutenant colonel commandant of the Parlisan Legion during the American war.
