Sean Baumann is a senior specialist and lecturer in the department of psychiatry and mental health in the faculty of health sciences of the University of Cape Town. He is also a consultant in charge of acute services at Valkenberg Hospital, as well as a consultant to the Groote Schuur Pain Clinic.
