and the original is available for further use at any future time. Drawings and Music, as well as writing, can be executed by this apparatus. Description of the Process. A sheet of cyclostyle paper is fixed in the cyclostyle frame. The circular or other matter is then written on this sheet of paper with the cyclostyle pen. This pen consists of an ordinary wooden holder, at the end of which is fixed on a pivot a minute wheel, this wheel revolves and turns in the direction of the writing and makes a perfect stencil. The copies produced are so perfect that the minute dots appear to the naked eye a continuous line. Immediately after the writing is finished the printing may (if desired) be commenced. Any paper may be used for printing on, an unglazed, however, dries more quickly than a highly glazed one. An error can be rectified by simply rubbing the stencil with the thumb nail when the holes will be found to close, and any other word or words can then be written in substitution. PATENT CEDAR FELT, FOR LAYING UNDER CARPETS, FLOOR-CLOTHS, &c., For the purpose of saving the Carpet, and softening the tread. This Felt is really the only one in the Market which is impervious to Moths and other insects. It retains for years the aroma of the Cedar Wood, the essence of which is incorporated in its substance. Makes the Carpet last twice as long, by protecting it from the hard uneven flooring. Prevents Draughts and Dust coming through seams and cracks in the floor, thus keeping the Room Warm. Lies quite flat, requires no fastening down, may be taken up and re-laid when necessary. Makes the Carpet feel much thicker and softer to the tread-an ordinary Carpet with a layer of Under-Felt will feel almost like a Turkey Carpet. Supersedes the Brown Paper sometimes in use, which crackles, and is no protection to the Carpet, being as hard as the flooring. Supplied in Rolls of 50, 25, or 12 yards long, in either of the above Widths. BEMROSE & SONS, Manufacturing Stationers, Printers, and Publishers, IRONGATE, DERBY; AND 23, OLD BAILEY, LONDON, E.C.
