The greater portion of the following statistics relative to foreign insurance companies, showing their location, insurance transactions, financial standing and business managers, we compile from that very valuable English publication, the Post-Magazine Almanack. Persons desiring information regarding any English company more in detail than is here given, more especially as to the personnel of the companies, are referred to that publication.
