CHAPTER 1.

AN ACT changing the time of holding the February term of the circuit court of Dodge county, for the year 1869.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, 'represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. The next term of the circuit court in when term and for the county of Dodge, shall commence and be shall be held. held on the Tuesday next succeeding the fourth Monday of February next, and all process and proceedings of whatever name or nature, returnable on the fourth Monday in February, 1869, shall be deemed returnable and returned on the said Tuesday.

AN ACT to regulate the time of holding the general terms of the
circuit court for the sixth judicial circuit.

and assembly, do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. The general terms of the circuit court for the sixth judicial circuit shall hereafter be held as follows In the county of Clark, on the first Tuesday of March and the first Tuesday of September in each year; in the county of Jackson, on the second Tuesday of March and second Tuesday of September in each year; in the county of Monroe, on the fourth Tuesday of March and the fourth Tuesday of September in each year; in the county of Trempealeau, on the fourth Tuesday of April and second Tuesday of October, in each year; in the county of Buffalo, on the first Tuesday of May and the third Tuesday of October, in each year; in the county of La Crosse, on the second Tuesday of May and the second Tuesday of November in each year, and in the county of Vernon, on the second Monday of June and the first Monday of December, in each year.

SECTION 2. All writs, process, services, continu. ances, recognizances and proceedings heretofore issued, made, taken, entered into or commenced, or which may be issued, made, taken, entered into or commenced in or from said courts of said counties respectively, or either of them, and all proceedings pending therein or returnable thereto, whether by recognizance or otherwise, shall be held and taken as returnable at the times mentioned in this act, for holding the said general terms of court respectively, in the said several

counties.

SECTION 3. All acts and parts of acts, so far as the same contravene or conflict with the provisions of this act are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
