This compilation is an alphabetical arrangement of the "Imports entered for consumption" as published in the annual reports of the Foreign Commerce and Navigation of the United States by the Department of Commerce. The period covered is the fiscal years ended June 30, 1908 to 1918, inclusive. The statistics show the quantity, value, value per unit of quantity, duty collected, rate of duty and equivalent ad valorem rate of duty for each commodity imported under the general tariff laws of 1897, 1909, and 1913, the war revenue act of 1916, and special acts, treaties, and reciprocal agreements.
