Cooper's most famous novel is The Last of the Mohicans which was made into a popular movie. The Last of the Mohicans is part of the 5 book series known as the Leatherstocking Tales. The Pathfinder or, The Inland Sea is the 4th book of the Leatherstocking Tales and continues to follow the life of Natty Bumppo as he guides damsels through the dangerous woods. |
