O autorovi (2018)

Peter Frankopan is Professor of Global History at Oxford University where is also Senior Research Fellow at Worcester College, Oxford and Director the Centre for Byzantine Research. He was Schiff Scholar at Jesus College, Cambridge, and was Senior Scholar at Corpus Christi College, Oxford where he did doctorate. In 2017, he was appointed Scaliger Visiting Professor at the University of Leiden and President's International Council Scholar at the Getty Center, Los Angeles. His revised translation of The Alexiad by Anna Komnene was published in 2009 and The First Crusade: The Call from the East was published in 2012.
