Sec. 4. Whereas, in the opinion of the General Assembly, an emergency exists; now, therefore, this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

STATE INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL-BOYS.

AN ACT

TO PROVIDE FOR PAYMENT OF A PART OF THE EXPENSE
OF MAINTENANCE, SUPPORT AND INCIDENTAL EXPENSES
OF THE STATE INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL AT GOLDEN, COLO-
RADO, FOR THE YEARS 1915 AND 1916.

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:

Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of Appropriation. any moneys in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated, as part payment of the expenses of the State In- Support and dustrial School at Golden, Colorado, for maintenance, support and incidental expenses, including the salaries of officers and employes, for the years 1915 and 1916, commencing December 1, 1914, and ending November 30, 1916, the sum of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) to be used exclusively for the purposes aforesaid, and the State Auditor is hereby authorized to draw his warrant upon the State Auditor draw Treasury in payment of the moneys hereby appropriated, upon certified vouchers of the board of control and the superintendent of the State Industrial School at Golden, Colorado.

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT, MAINTE-
NANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE STATE INDUSTRIAL
SCHOOL AT GOLDEN, COLORADO, FOR THE TWO YEARS
BEGINNING DECEMBER 1, 1914, AND ENDING NOVEMBER
30, 1916.

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:

Section 1. That for the general support and maintenance of the State Industrial School at Golden, Colorado, for the period commencing December 1, 1914, and ending November 30, 1916, there is hereby appropriated the sum of one hundred and sixty thousand dollars ($160,000.00); for the purpose of purchasing additional machinery for manual training departments, three thousand dollars ($3,000.00), together with the cash receipts of the institution for the two years aforesaid, to be used exclusively for the purposes above set forth, except that the cash receipts may be expended for any purpose the board of control may deem necessary for the school's proper conduct and welfare.

Sec. 2. All moneys herein appropriated shall be spent by the authority of the board of control of the State Industrial School, Golden, Colorado, and the State Auditor, upon certified vouchers of the board of control and the superintendent of the State Industrial School at

Golden, Colorado, shall draw his warrant upon the State
Treasury in payment of the moneys hereby appropriated.

Sec. 3. Nothing in this act shall be construed to authorize any expenditures or the contracting of any indebtedness in excess of the amount of the appropriations herein made.

Approved: May 8, 1915, as to $135,000 of the item of $160,000, and vetoed as to $25,000 of said item.

AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT, MAINTE-
NANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE STATE INDUSTRIAL
SCHOOL FOR GIRLS IN JEFFERSON COUNTY, INCLUDING
THE PAYMENT OF SALARIES OF OFFICERS AND EM-
PLOYEES THEREOF; FOR GENERAL INCIDENTAL REPAIRS
AND IMPROVEMENTS; FOR ENLARGING THE RECEPTION
COTTAGE, OR BUILDING A HOSPITAL, AND FOR THE CON-
STRUCTION OF AN EXTENSION OF THE FRANCES WIL-
LARD COTTAGE.

Be It Enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:

Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated; for the State Industrial School for Girls, for the biennial period ending November 30, 1916, the sum of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for maintenance, improvements and repairs and for the general expenses of the school.

Sec. 2. In the opinion of the General Assembly an emergency exists; therefore, this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

Approved: May 8, 1915, as to $10,000 of the item of $15,000, and vetoed as to $5,000 of said item.
