BOOK AUCTION INTELLIGENCE. THE Kilmarnock Burns was sold the other day at Messrs. Sotheby's. It was in the original calf, and at the end were thirty three pages of autograph poems by Mrs. Dunlop. She will ever be known and honored (by Scotchmen especially), as one Burns himself has said, to whose kind patronage and assistance he owed the most. This interesting volume was sold for $330 (Pickering).

copies from the authors. An unusually large number of the books are in fine bindings, including specimens from Bedford, Rivière, Hayslay, Zaehnsdorf, Matthews, and others. The sale will take place early in February.

Messrs. Libbie will also sell in the near future the extensive collection of autographs of the late Ben Perley Poore, Esq., of Indian Hill, Newburyport. Also a collection of Rebellion Literature, comprising scare Confederate newspapers, and other Confederate publications. Also a collection of about 25,000 volumes of foreign books, and a very large number of miscellaneous books to be sold during February and March.

The work is apparently expensive-but a collection of Bibliography containing an ill digested and ill arranged portion of the titles would cost perhaps four or five times the amount.
