anthracite coal.

Mining, drilling and operating for oil, producing and deal-
ing in oil, and acquiring lands and mining rights for that
purpose.

The manufacture and supply of gas or the supply of light or
heat to the public by any other means in the city of Wilkes-
Barre, Luzerne county, Pennsylvania.

Supplying light, heat and power by means of electricity to
the public at the borough of Sharon, in the county of Mer-
cer, State of Pennsylvania, and to persons, partnerships
and associations residing therein and adjacent thereto as
may desire the same.

Supplying water for domestic, manufacturing and other
purposes to the public in the borough of Lansford, county
of Carbon, and to such persons, partnerships and corpora-
tions residing or doing business therein and adjacent
thereto as may desire the same.

The manufacture and sale of horse-shoe nails and other use-
ful wares of iron, steel, brass or other metals, or of wood,
or of combinations of the same.

Manufacturing gas for illuminating, heating and fuel pur-
poses, and machinery and appliances connected therewith,
and selling the same, with the right to purchase and lease
works for such manufacturing, and with the right to ac-
quire and hold patent-rights for inventions and designs
relating thereto, and to issue, receive and grant licenses
under said patents and receive pay therefor.

The manufacture of iron or steel, or both, or of any other
metal or article of commerce from metal, wood, or both.
Erecting and maintaining an oil refinery in the county of
Washington, Pa., for the refining of petroleum or rock
oil, and for the buying, selling and vending crude and re-
fined oil and its products, and for the manufacture of
tanks, casks, packages, etc., for storing and transporting
the same.

The insurance of owners of real estate, mortages and others
interested in real estate from loss by reason of defective
titles, liens and incumbrances.

Constructing, maintaining and leasing lines of telegraph for
the private use of individuals, firms, corporations, muni-
cipal and otherwise, for general business, and for police,
fire alarm or message business, and for the transaction of
any business in which electricity, over or through wires,

rence, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, McKean,
Mercer, Mifflin, Monroe, Montgomery, Montour, North-
ampton, Northumberland, Perry, Philadelphia, Pike, Pot-
ter, Schuylkill, Snyder, Somerset, Sullivan, Susquehanna,
Tioga, Union, Venango, Warren, Washington, Wayne,
Westmoreland, Wyoming and York.

used in such manufactures.
